“ I've been to this place a few times, and the food is always a hit or miss for me. Their birria is okay, I wouldn't get it again. But their pastor tacos are super yummy! I always get it with the red sauce and some grilled onions on the side. This place is located at Steelcraft, so there is always lots of outdoor seating to enjoy your food. There's also some live bands sometimes and TVs around so you can enjoy your food with some entertainment! Parking can be a hassle though. There's a small lot where Steelcraft is and a bigger lot across the street but you do have to walk kind of far. Not too bad if you're looking to try a new taco spot and the pricing is reasonable. ”
“ Mostly vegan CA fries are a thing. I have been searching for a Mexican place that offers more veg friendly options and this place is it. They have multiple different non meat protein options and you can have them in different forms. Their street tacos are exactly what you want them to be and perfectly seasoned. I had their vegan Birria and you could not even tell that it wasn't the real thing. Great sized serving of guacamole and you can tell they made it fresh. Plenty of chunks of avocado because that is the best version. Service was fast and friendly. You order at the register and then sit at any of the large picnic tables. When your order is ready you can come and grab it. My order was ready in no time and even came with red and green salsas. ”
“ I had never been to a place like this. It's a bunch of shipping containers transformed into restaurants. We ate at this one and the food was delicious! Everything had great flavor. The other cool part is they have a sign for all the free additional items. You can pick from salsas, to grilled jalapeños, pickled jalapeños, beans, cucumbers, lime and grilled onions! Definitely going back! ”
“ My favorite part of this place was their salsa. The habanero salsa was my favorite. We tried the birria tacos and poblano shrimp burrito. I am not that big of a fan of shrimp, but the burrito was really flavorful. The birria tacos were really nice. Compared to other birria tacos I've had, this place would be one of the top 10 places I've been to. It was a bit busy, but the workers were working very fast. The place has semi outdoor seating. They also have barrels with umbrellas if you prefer to stand and eat. ”
“ I still think about the carne asada quesadilla I had last weekend. It was that good. For $11.95, you get a homestyle flour tortilla loaded with melted Oaxaca and Monterey Jack cheese and your choice of meat (carne asada for me). You also get pico de gallo, crema and guacamole on the side. I've had many quesadillas in my lifetime, and the one at La Taqueria Brand was quite good. The meat carne asada was tender and flavorful. And that combination of Oaxaca and Monterey Jack cheese is top tier. The Oaxaca cheese gave each bite a nice pull. Delish. They offer so many things at La Taqueria Brand. You can basically satiate any Mexican craving you might have. ”
“ WOOOWWWWWOWOW! I dont get to have birria often but when i saw this place had a birria dip sandwich i just KNEW i had to get it. I was NOT disappointed! It was served hot and with a cup of birria consomme on the side and fries. The fries were straight but tasted like curly ones. They were hot n fresh too. I inhaled that sandwich: it was packed with meat (on torta bread?) with crispy yet soft cheese. I want to eat 5 more. My husband got the birria street tacos which he said are a bit on the smaller side than the other ones but were a good portion. He really enjoyed them! They also have a good selection of agua frescas and sodas as well as this mexican bread pudding i am DYING to try. The girl who took our order was very nice and got everything correct. Its in the steelcraft area so RUN to try this place! ”
“ Had a quick lunch at Steelcraft this week. Parking was easy midweek in their lot. There was plenty of opening seating, mostly shared picnic tables. Seating is outside if you've never been. I had the Carne Asada Nachos from La Taqueria Brand and the Cucumber Lime Agua Frescas. Delicious! Service was quick and there are several salsas to pick from to add to your meal. ”
